As an Accounting Services Manager, you will:
- Review workpapers, reconcile accounts, and compile financial statements for clients
- Have advanced knowledge of payroll taxes, benefits, and forms
- Process payroll and review payroll tax forms such as 1099s, sales tax forms, etc.
- Have an advanced understanding of client accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop and Online)
- Provide timely and accurate accounting assistance per client requests
- Oversee payroll and sales tax audits and respond to related tax notices
- Assist with individual and business preparation services
- Promote staff development through mentoring, training, retention, and team-building activities
- Prepare proposals for request for services
- Perform billing tasks
- Participate in community and marketing activities to develop positive relationships with community leaders and members
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Six or more years of similar experience
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and accounting software packages
