Associate Attorney
Smith Law Offices in Nicholasville seeks a motivated, self-directed Associate Attorney who is prepared to provide independent, client-focused legal services. This position offers the opportunity to work with an established and varied book of civil matters while contributing to the needs of a growing county and local legal community.

Practice Areas
The firm’s current practice includes:

     Agency advising

     Planning and Zoning

     Administrative law

     Banking

     Estate Planning

     Probate

     Real estate issues and other civil matters

Candidates with experience or interest in other practice areas are also encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights
     Small, family-run law practice

     On-the-job training and continuing legal education support. We are committed to nurturing associate’s long-term success.

     One remote-work day per week

     Approximately two to four evening meetings per month, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate those commitments

     Potential for an equity discussion after the successful candidate establishes tenure with the firm

     Office located in a historic downtown building with parking available

Compensation
$80,000 annually, negotiable, depending on qualifications

Paid time off for holidays, vacation, and sick leave
