The position primarily involves family law and related matters, which may include divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, property division, paternity, modifications, and other domestic relations proceedings.

The successful candidate will have opportunities to work with attorneys throughout the firm on matters involving estate planning and administration, probate, guardianship, civil litigation, real estate, immigration, and other complementary practice areas.

We value candidates who bring specialized experience but also enjoy learning, adapting, and contributing wherever their skills can benefit our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent and advise clients in family law, domestic relations, and related legal matters consistent with the attorney's experience and the firm's practice needs.
  • Manage legal matters from initial consultation through resolution, with appropriate support from other attorneys and staff.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and develop practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings, as applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff across practice areas.
  • Effectively manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing practices consistent with the firm's compensation structure and applicable billable-hour expectations.
  • Participate in professional development, community involvement, and the continued growth of the firm.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary, benefits, and incentive-based compensation.
  • Billable requirements are tied to the base salary and reflect our commitment to work-life balance.
  • A hybrid work environment offering flexibility while encouraging collaboration.
  • Meaningful responsibility for cases, direct client interaction, and professional autonomy.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise in multiple practice areas and build a well-rounded legal practice.
  • Mentorship, collaboration, and support from experienced attorneys and professional staff.
  • Opportunities for professional advancement and involvement in the firm's continued growth.
  • A welcoming, team-oriented culture that values diverse perspectives, initiative, and mutual respect.
