Emergency Infant Services (EIS) provides immediate, critical assistance to infants and young children ages five and under whose families are experiencing financial hardship. From diapers and formula to clothing and other essentials, EIS supports over 50,000 Tulsaarea children each year. When families are in crisis, a child cannot wait—and neither do we.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, our Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming, respectful, and supportive experience. You’ll help ensure families receive timely services, guide visitors, assist team members, and support smooth daily operations. This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys communityfocused work and meaningful daily interactions. Regular working hours - 8:30am - 2:45pm.
What You’ll Do
Warmly greet clients, visitors, and volunteers; determine the purpose of each visit and direct or escort them appropriately
Open and close the lobby for client services
Provide courteous, compassionate assistance in a fastpaced environment
Check in clients using the Salesforce database
Answer and route incoming calls on EIS’s primary phone line
Maintain an orderly lobby environment and monitor the area
Help keep the express room stocked with essential supplies
Assist with client interviews as needed
Support mobile events as assigned
Perform additional duties to support team operations when needed
Requirements
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED required
Bilingual (Spanish or Burmese)
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent verbal communication
Basic administrative and clerical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help families in need
