Overview
H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Claims Administrative Assistant to work with the Risk Manager and Safety Team with claim coordination and serve as a primary contact for staff and employees in various safety-related issues. The ideal candidate is organized, takes initiative, and provides excellent customer service in daily interaction with staff, employees, clients, and vendors. Why work for H&K Group, Inc.?

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs all work according to OSHA, MSHA, PennDOT, and H&K Safety policiesReceive and review new incident reportsFile Claims with Insurance CarrierGenerate and Track claim and insurance billing for auto claimsResearch / analyze internal records to determine a plan of action for claimsMaintain Health & Safety Plans for contracting jobsCreate and manage Purchase Orders for the Safety Department as neededDatabase ManagementCompliance Assistance Check requestsMaintain new hire orientation paperwork as it pertains to the Safety Dept.Track Costs and Incident Reports for one (or more) partner companiesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one year of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college or universityTwo years of related experience and/or trainingOSHA, MSHA or other relevant safety certifications
- Regularly required to sit
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision abilities
- Noise level is usually moderate
- Hours may exceed 40 per week as needed
- Potential to work remote on occasion (as needed) after 90 days
- Frequently works under time constraints
