Description
PetMedic is looking for an experienced Client Service Representative/Technician Assistant to join our team. At PetMedic, you can help shape the exciting new world of veterinary urgent care. Our fast-paced environment means you'll do something different every day, but with more regularity and stability than an emergency setting. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, stay ahead using educational training, and partner with experienced doctors to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.Client Service Representative
PetMedic in Portland, Maine
$20-23 hourly pay rate based on experience
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner
Warmly greets clients and provide exceptional service
Entering new client information into the computer system
Following opening and closing procedures
Prepares client invoices for services performed
Handles payment transactions
Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly
Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas.
Patient handling and restraint.
Keeping cages clean and sanitized.
Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.).
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be willing and able to safely restrain or move dogs of all sizes including dogs that are over 100 pounds.
Must be comfortable standing, walking and being active for most of the day.
Must be able to handle excited dogs who may bark and jump.
Help maintain and sterilize surgical packs and surgical equipment
Assist Licensed Veterinary Technicians with patients and other tasks
Maintain hospital inventory by restocking retail products and medical supplies

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year client service experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer skills
