We are currently recruiting qualified applicants for the Customer Service Representative - Splash Aquatic Park position. Come and see why the City of Golden is the place you want to be!
We are currently seeking the right individual to provide exemplary service to our customers; to handle monetary transactions; answer phones, and answer a variety of questions for our guests as a Customer Service Representative at the Splash Aquatic Park. This position's schedule will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays possible.
Welcome and greet guests to The Splash at Fossil Trace water park.
Handle monetary transactions which include daily admissions, annual passes, punch cards and general merchandise sales.
Close out and balance cash drawers at shifts end.
Answer phones, provide information and answer a variety of questions for guests.
Provide custodial assistance as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age by date of hire. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). One year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Experience working with youth and experience working at a recreation facility preferred. Knowledge of RecTrac software helpful.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification desired or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to utilize tact when enforcing center policies.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of personal computer, cash handling, and keyboard. Ability to complete tasks simultaneously.
MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
Personal computer, cash drawer, phones, adding machine, P.A. system, I.D. camera, copy machine, and fax machine.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
