RS&H is currently seeking a Dallas Aviation Project Manager to join our Aviation Practice in our Dallas, TX office!    We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Aviation Team in Dallas. The Project Manager will be given the reigns to oversee significant aspects of the successful delivery of projects, including leading production teams, quality assurances, and financial performance. This is an opportunity to help grow our successful business unit, expand our client base, and lead designs with a team of aviation professionals. Opportunities include the design of runways, taxiways, and aprons, bituminous and concrete pavement, stormwater and utility infrastructure; coordination with airports, airlines, FAA, and other tenants; construction administration/management; grant management; coordination and interaction with other RS&H and team member disciplines (Planning, Buildings, Environmental); and active industry involvement. • Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of aviation design fundamentals with the ability to direct and check the work of other staff.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of aviation plans and technical specifications production.
• Function as a leader on small, moderate, or large scope, multi-disciplined projects.
• Act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to aviation design.
• Enjoy working in a highly flexible, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication, analysis, and documentation skills.

• Communicate directly with clients, helping to foster and maintain client relationships.
• Support leadership of the Dallas Aviation team, including client management; assist in winning work; lead, develop, and deliver projects, financial performance and revenue growth; backlog balancing through utilization and workshare; and associate mentorship and growth.
• Design projects, systems, components, and processes. Prepare project plans, specifications, and reports.
• Analyze and interpret data. Perform analyses of design, planning, and impact studies, as well as cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and design layouts.
• Apply advanced knowledge and expertise to resolve complex issues and/or unique challenges.
• Support business development in the Aviation market to provide growth and sustained backlog, including management of client relationships for loyalty, long-term engagement, and lifetime retention.
• Responsible for project performance and execution, including oversight of Design Teams through mentorship and project leadership.
• Recommend operational strategies and plans with direct impact on results.

• ABET accredited Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil design, at least 6 in aviation-related facilities
• Texas PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting
• Effective team-focused associate that will foster teamwork, help set priorities, and define expectations
• Strong supervisory skills and record of leading design teams
• Good organization and motivation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to travel across the region to existing/potential Airport Clients
• Must have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required for use in completing an assignment
