Description
The Maintenance Worker supports the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the warehouse by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role ensures that daily operations run smoothly and that all assets remain in good working condition.
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock doors.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing issues as they arise.Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status.Assist with general building upkeep, such as lighting, HVAC filters, and minor structural repairs.Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime in warehouse operations.Follow all safety protocols and support a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
Experience in maintenance, repair, or a related trade within an industrial or warehouse setting.Working knowledge of mechanical systems, basic electrical work, and hand/power tools.Ability to diagnose issues, prioritize tasks, and work independently.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks as required.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to solve basic math problems. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
