The Director, Member Engagement is responsible for leading strategy, development, and execution of consumer marketing campaigns that drive enrollment, activation, and ongoing engagement with Paradigm Healthcare Solutions' digital programs. This will include leveraging data-driven insights to develop and adapt omnichannel engagement strategies across digital engagement (email, SMS), direct mail, our consumer-facing platform/program as well as the use of a CRM (customer relationship management) to drive member growth, engagement, and retention.
This remote work role enhances consumer and member experience and strengthens brand reputation among eligible members with the goal of optimizing digital platform use, harnessing data-driven insights, and fostering innovation in the rapidly evolving healthcare marketing landscape. Success in this position requires someone with a consumer-oriented mindset, experience executing campaigns to engage hard-to-reach populations, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovative engagement techniques.
In this role you will partner cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Client Success, and Data Science teams to craft and optimize campaigns that optimize engagement in our programs and help members take meaningful steps toward better health outcomes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and leads a comprehensive digital experience/engagement strategy, budget, and execution that aligns with the Paradigm brand, mission, and system priorities.
- Design and execute member engagement strategy for healthcare products and services.
- Create an omnichannel marketing plan that integrates across platforms, improves efficiency and effectiveness, and delivers measurable ROI. Implement Strategies across email, SMS, and potentially social media channels to reach members at every stage of the health journey.
- Lead execution of the marketing plan for digital platforms and technology to ensure scalability, innovation, and best-in-class performance.
- Stay up to date on trends in digital marketing and emerging technologies, as well as the competitive landscape, consumer behavior, referral patterns, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
- Work closely with Product and UX/UI teams to design a cohesive and engaging digital experience and member journey that optimizes touchpoints across acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Direct the strategy and execution of member engagement content development that builds awareness, strengthens engagement, and improves performance of healthcare products.
- Responsible for developing and writing clear, compelling communication content that effectively engages target audiences
- Ensure digital content reflects the Paradigm brand voice, tone, and messaging while addressing the needs of diverse audiences.
- Leverage analytics, predictive modeling, and personalization to continuously refine strategies and improve ROI.
- Partner with analytics to define segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies that maximize conversion and engagement.
- Lead A/B testing, creative optimization, and message experimentation across channels
- Works with IT and compliance teams to safeguard patient data and maintain cybersecurity standards that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Partner with organizational and service line leaders to translate business objectives into digital engagement plans that support volume growth and access.
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring accountability for innovation, performance, and ROI.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing/Communications, or other related field required.
Experience
- Proven success in consumer or member marketing, ideally in digital health, healthcare services, or tech-enabled wellness.
- Track record of developing and scaling member acquisition and engagement campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Experience leading large-scale digital projects such as site redesigns, CRM deployments, and/or digital personalization strategies.
- 7+ years health care experience required.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of patient-centered marketing in healthcare, including consumer decision journeys.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms and developing and analyzing campaigns that span email, SMS, direct mail
- Define and continually optimize the marketing engagement experience digital tools and communications
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data to drive decisions and demonstrate impact
- Ability to integrate consumer insights, UX/UI principles, and digital marketing into a unified strategy
- Comfortable working across IT, Product, Client Success, and clinical stakeholders to improve engagement and usability.
- Strong interpersonal communication and political acumen skills and advanced skills to represent the Healthcare Solutions business unit other institutional and/or external constituencies.
- Strong skills to produce results and achieve predetermined goals within budget and time constraints.
- Understanding of commercial and government-sponsored health insurance and delivery.
- Excellent project management skills including demonstrated success in guiding projects from concept to implementation and measurement.
- Effective collaboration skills, including the ability to work with payer, provider and internal staff across organizational levels and settings. Leadership experience in a cross-functional environment where strong influencing and relationship building have been demonstrated.
- Superior written and oral communication skills; able to tell a clear story with data and develop clean, effective presentations.
- Passionate about the goal of improving the healthcare experience in the US.
