Paragon is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join our team. The Electrical Test Technician is responsible for performing tests and inspections of a wide variety of electrical components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide variety of complex electrical components
- Design, fabricate and implement test set ups to meet testing requirements
- Perform failure analysis of various components
- Perform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components
- Dedication/qualification of commercially available components for safety related applications in nuclear utilities
- Testing and troubleshooting with digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators and assorted test equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks
- Additional duties and tasks assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 5 years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required
- Must be able to communicate effectively across all functions the organization
- Must have a high attention to detail with good documentation skills, and able to write legibly
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Has an electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Follow safety procedures
- Has time management, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills. (File Organization, Email, etc.)
- Proficiency in using the following equipment: Meters, Variacs, Power Supplies, Ductors, Megger, Hi-pot, Calipers, and tools
