SolaraVets–Paris is a privately owned emergency veterinary hospital seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our nights and weekends team. This role is ideal for a technician who thrives in a fast-paced emergency environment, enjoys working as part of a strong team, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
We are looking for someone with solid emergency skills who can think clearly under pressure and communicate effectively with both doctors and clients. The ideal candidate is confident placing IV catheters, collecting blood samples, performing patient monitoring, and assisting with critical and surgical cases. A strong understanding of medical math, drug calculations, and emergency protocols is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in managing emergency and critical care cases
- Place IV catheters and collect blood samples
- Perform accurate medical calculations and medication preparation
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency and surgical procedures
- Perform triage and assist with stabilization of critical patients
- Maintain clear and thorough medical records
- Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and clients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Veterinary technician experience required (emergency experience preferred)
- Strong skills in venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Excellent medical math and drug calculation ability
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful and professional workplace
