- Family Law Attorney
Description
I am a solo probate and family law attorney in North Worcester County seeking a highly-motivated attorney with 3-5 years of experience litigating divorce and custody cases. The right candidate will be super-organized, detail-oriented, excited to learn and use the systems in my practice, and ready to stand out as an industry innovator.
This position is ideal for an attorney who is currently a solo practitioner with room to grow, or an attorney interested in establishing a solo probate and family law practice.
Travel to Probate and Family Courts is required, of course, but this is otherwise a remote position and client meetings outside of the courthouse are handled via Zoom.
The starting weekly hours (minimum 5 hours weekly) and contract rate (minimum $150 per hour) is a baseline that you can expect to begin with, and expect to grow as you succeed in this position.
Your first 90-180 days will focus on learning the business model and systems in the practice, while simultaneously stepping in to existing cases to cover hearings, settlement negotiations and document drafting. Then, you start moving up the ladder.
I am not in a rush to fill this position, because I’m focused on finding the right person. If you are that person, then your hard work and drive will be rewarded, as you will gain the opportunity to quickly transition to a full-time role and, ultimately, to shareholder status.
Email your résumé to jvowles@jlvlaw.com, along with a short (about 60 seconds) video explaining why you belong in this role—and why we’d make a great team.
