The Institute of Agriculture & Natural Resources business centers are a cohesive team that provide professional service, efficient resource management, and effective solution development with integrity, accountability and focus on the customer. This position is located at the Western Nebraska Research, Extension, and Education Center in North Platte, NE.
As a Finance Associate, you will: • Serve in a customer-facing role and be responsible for ensuring finance transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable institutional, UNL, State, and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Primarily execute routine travel, procurement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, and asset management transactions.
• Work closely with employees within the departments served, as well as functional office staff, providing a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
• Function under close supervision and be expected utilize technology to provide professional services.
