Position Summary:
ANSER is actively seeking a GEOINT Source Strategies Analyst to work in support National Geospatial Agency (NGA). In this key role, you apply technical, regional, and functional expertise to define geospatial information needs and provide actionable intelligence. If youre a strong analyst with a problemsolving mindset, this role offers the chance to support warfighters, safeguard national security, and inform senior leadership. Additionally, you will guide clients in developing efficient strategies for data acquisition efforts, leveraging your understanding of collection platforms and integrate sources such as SIGINT, ELINT, MASINT, and opensource data to enable automated tipping and queueing. Youll validate information, refine collection strategies, and support warfighters, policymakers, internal clients, and Intelligence Community stakeholders. Your expertise will be relied on for timesensitive recommendations. This role also offers opportunities to expand your skills in automated modeling tools, share best practices, and grow within a collaborative team dedicated to delivering timely, missioncritical intelligence.
This role requires full-time onsite work in Springfield, VA. This position is not open to hybrid or remote work.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide GEOINT collection tasking expertise, including automated GEOINT collection strategies.
- Provide subject matter expertise on existing and future GEOINT imaging systems and their associated architecture.
- Assist with GEOCOM sub-committees as a GEOINT tasking SME.
- Optimize collection and dissemination of imagery in support of the IC.
- Task, coordinate, and collaborate to answer all intelligence problems.
- Build automated multi-intelligence collection strategies to support ABI/OBP CONOPS using associated applications (JEMA, GIMS, ECO, etc.).
- Mentor junior level Source Strategies Analysts on advanced integrated collection and tactics.
- Produce briefings and information papers for Source leadership on the status of collection operations.
- Brief and write at DNI/DoD level audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
- 5+ years experience reflecting knowledge of the GEOINT Community, their focus areas, and their collection management structures to include NSG tools, and DoD/IC collaborative tools designed to assist in GEOINT collection, production and visualization.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience utilizing GEOINT collection management information systems.
- Knowledge of GEOINT tasking and collection processes and protocols.
- Knowledge of national, commercial, and airborne GEOINT sensors and capabilities.
- Knowledge of multi-INT sources and capabilities.
- Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic 24/7/365 environment as a team member.
- Ability to collaborate with GEOINT analysts to deconstruct problems and develop effective collection approaches.
- Ability to liaise with partners across the IC and DoD to innovate and enable intelligence integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GEOINT Professional Certification Fundamentals (F).
- GEOINT Professional Certification Collections (C).
- Knowledge of service enabled capabilities (REST Services, Globe).
- Experience and/or understanding of Throughput integration/dissemination-related activities with COCOM and/or Service-level exercises.
- Grounded understanding and/or core mission background in Source Collection and Foundation, Analysis, IT architecture, acquisition, procurement, contracting, project management, operations research, and cyber security.
- Bachelors degree preferred; Masters degree a plus.
