Overview

Neshobe Golf Club is an exceptional 18-hole golf facility located in Brandon, Vermont.  This facility is one of three premier Vermont golf courses owned and managed by Milne Golf, LLC.  Neshobe Golf Club is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Golf Operations Manager with extensive teaching experience to join our team.  

The ideal candidate will work directly with the General Manager to manage all daily golf operations, coordinate and run tournaments, assist with tournament related food and beverage, and ensure an exceptional golfing experience for each member and guest. This role will also require a teaching and player development presence throughout the season.  A passionate golf enthusiast looking to grow their network, expand their exposure across multiple facilities, and advance their career in the golf industry would be perfect for this position.

The team from Neshobe Golf Club will be at the PGA Show and interested to meet with qualified applicants.

Experience Required

• PGA or LPGA Apprentice or Class A Member status is preferred
• Previous experience in a head professional or assistant role at a private club or resort is beneficial but not required
• Strong knowledge of golf operations, teaching methods and tournament facilitation
• Excellent communication skills with customers and staff members both in person and via email
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
• Passion for the game of golf and it's patrons.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. (e.g., golf bags, tournament supplies).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time.

Essential Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Golf Operations Support: To assist in overseeing day-to-day golf operations.  Examples include tee sheet management, maintaining the practice facility and golf cart fleet supervision.
• Golf Shop: To provide excellent customer service and help maintain the golf shops professional appearance on a routine basis.
• Tournament Facilitation: To assist in the growth and development of all tournaments at the facility. These include groups, corporate outings and club member events.
• Player Development and Instructional Programs: To provide a professional and versitile instructional presence that best reflects the needs of both guests and members of all ages.
• Professional Development: Represent the golf club in professional events and training opportunities that align with PGA membership or apprenticeship.
