Description
- Duties:
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercise
- Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns.
- Assist with animal handling.
- Provide basic training and socialization for dogs
- Assist with pet sitting services as needed
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatments - Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Familiarity with veterinary procedures and terminology is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
