The Legal Technology Librarian will be available to teach a required first-year legal research, analysis, and writing course and may teach upper-level legal research or technology courses. The librarian will also provide reference and research services to the law school and university communities, the South Carolina bench and bar, and the public, and will support other public services and library duties.
The position presents wide-ranging opportunities for a candidate interested in law libraries and legal technology and innovation. The candidate will contribute significantly to legal technology and AI initiatives at the law library and the law school.
The Legal Technology Librarian reports to the Associate Director of the Law Library and works closely with the other library faculty and staff.
This is a 12-month tenure track position in the law library faculty. Start date is flexible. Salary commensurate with experience.
