Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC seeks an accomplished Litigation Attorney with more than five years of substantive experience and a demonstrated ability to generate work, to join our expanding Jacksonville, Florida office. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead and co-counsel on a diverse litigation docket, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, hearings, and trials as appropriate.
- Manage and deepen existing client relationships while originating, developing, and expanding new client engagements.
- Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver seamless, multi-jurisdictional legal support.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers and litigation staff as needed.
- Maintain high standards of client service, efficiency, and matter profitability.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in Florida; willingness and ability to obtain additional admissions as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience with a proven record of handling matters independently and building relationships with clients.
- Portable book of business and a demonstrated ability to grow client relationships.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills; strategic, solution-oriented mindset; excellent judgment and professionalism.
- Commitment to collaboration, responsiveness, and client-first service.
