Position Overview

The Medical Assistant will support our providers in delivering personalized, efficient, and high-quality care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

 
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties
Perform phlebotomy, injections, vital signs, and EKGs
Assist with procedures including ear lavages
Prepare lab samples for testing
Ensure exam rooms are prepared and efficient for patient flow
Communicate clearly with patients regarding care plans and instructions
Administrative Duties
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries promptly
Check in patients and prepare documentation for visits
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Coordinate referrals, imaging, and outside services
Collect payments and manage patient records
Patient Experience
Provide a warm, professional, and concierge-level experience
Educate and follow up with patients on preventive care
Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Support patient satisfaction and office efficiency
Office Support
Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Manage inventory and supplies
Assist with daily office operations and team support
 
Qualifications

Required

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Phlebotomy experience
2+ years of medical office experience
1+ year experience with EMR systems
Strong computer skills (5+ years)
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred

Medical terminology knowledge (2+ years)
Experience in a concierge or high-touch practice setting
