- Waiting area, 5 exam rooms, pharmacy with drive through window, x-ray room, surgical suites
- Large suite on second floor which can be used for storage, conference room, offices, or onsite residence
Clientele and Caseload:
Full-Service general practice hospital inclusive of boarding and grooming - small animals with occasional pocket pets and exotics treated
Approximately 30,000 registered clients (2025: 570 new clients with approximately 12,220 patient visits)
Primary Medical Director Responsibilities:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Texas
- Clinical Leadership
- Establish and uphold medical standards and protocols
- Lead effective case flow and clinical decision-making within an urgent care setting
- Ensure high-quality patient care and clear client communication
- Oversee medical record accuracy and charge capture
- Identify and implement clinical service enhancements
- Team and Practice Leadership
- Support hiring and onboarding of veterinarians and support staff
- Mentor associate veterinarians in workflows and triage best practices
- Contribute to operational strategy and scheduling efficiency
- Foster a collaborative, team-first culture
- Financial Oversight
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining medical excellence
- Participate in annual planning and performance review
- Support marketing and community engagement initiatives
- Strong leadership and communication skills
