Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our wellness clinic. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional therapeutic services in a vibrant, client-focused environment. As a key member of our team, you will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through expert massage techniques, fostering a positive and healing experience. This position is perfect for motivated professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while working flexible hours in a supportive setting. The hours are Monday Wednesday and Friday 9-7. If need be, a break can be placed into your schedule.
Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly.
Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening attentively, and ensuring client comfort throughout each session.
Educate clients on pain management strategies, anatomy, physiology, and self-care practices to support ongoing wellness.
Maintain accurate treatment records, document patient progress, and adhere to medical terminology standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on occupational health and wellness programs as needed.
Uphold all safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and professional licensing requirements to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Requirements
Valid Florida state licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT).
Some deep deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
Prior experience working in a med spa or wellness setting is highly desirable.
Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and respond compassionately.
Familiarity with occupational health practices and customer service excellence.
