Requirements
A Day in the Life — OD at Thurmond Eye Associates
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Team Support
Each OD is supported by 1 bilingual scribe + 3 techs
Up to 25 patients per half-day session
Shared access to specialty testing equipment keeps clinic flow smooth
Types of Patient Care
Post-operative care
Routine refractive exams and contact lenses
Medical cases and urgent visits
Every day brings variety and keeps things exciting clinically.
Call (Without the Chaos)
Primary call: 1 week at a time, around 6–7 times annually
No hospital call
