Independent General Rental Company Serving Westchester, Rockland and Lower Fairfield Counties since 1983 looking for an outside sales rep to build existing relationships with customer base. Identify new customers and develop relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters to rent and sell equipment and services to all trades.

What you will do:

        Daily jobsite visits to identify customers’ needs and build relationships.

        Prospect and qualify new, existing and dormant accounts.

        Maximize revenue through rental and sales.

        Develop, plan and execute sales strategies to achieve goals.

        Monitor market trends and competitors’ offerings to be a market leader.

        Main contact person for your accounts

        Demonstrate and educate customers on equipment offerings.

        Participate in local trade shows and conferences

        Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

        Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

        Three years of sales experience is a must.

        Knowledge of construction and related equipment preferred.

        Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

        Valid driver's license.

Pay Range: Base plus commissions.
