We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join our growing practice.

What You'll Do

As a core member of our legal team, you will be assigned to an active caseload and work closely with our attorneys across all phases of litigation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and managing outgoing and incoming discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness materials, and coordinating logistics
• Managing case files from intake through resolution, ensuring deadlines are met and matters are properly organized
• Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Performing legal research and other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in family law or another litigation practice area
• Strong working knowledge of Virginia court procedures and filing requirements preferred
• Proficiency in legal drafting and the ability to take feedback and revise working documents
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A client-centered approach and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and empathy
• Paralegal certificate or relevant degree is good but paralegal experience is more important
