Job Description Summary
Bentley's Office of Gender and Sexuality Student Programs is hiring for either a Program Coordinator or an Assistant Director.This position may be hired at either the Program Coordinator or Assistant Director level, depending on the finalist's relevant experience and qualifications. The salary will align with the selected level and candidate's background. The final decision regarding title and level will be made at the hiring manager's discretion.
While both roles share core responsibilities, the Program Coordinator will focus on supporting program delivery, logistics, and student engagement under the guidance of the Director. In contrast, the Assistant Director will operate with greater independence, taking a lead role in strategic planning, program development, and campus partnerships. The Assistant Director is expected to provide higher-level decision-making, contribute to office strategy, and serve as a key representative for gender equity and LGBTQ+ advocacy initiatives across campus.
Job Profile Summary
Develop, implement and deliver programming and initiatives to engage and educate Bentley students about critical diversity issues, with a focus on gender equity, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and allies. Assist with office strategy and planning efforts to increase engagement with the GSSP office.
Essential Duties
Collaborate with the GSSP Director in the execution and delivery of the Women's Leadership Program, including, but not limited to:
Logistical oversight of all aspects of events
Program participation tracking and roster management
Representing the Women's Leadership Program at campus events
Updating and maintaining CampusGroups, website, and other forms of student communication
Oversight of WLP Programming Board
Collaborate with campus partners outside of Student Affairs to plan and deliver on gender and sexuality programs and initiatives for campus, including (but not limited to) Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and Center for Women and Business.
Includes ally trainings, classroom presentations, etc.
Establish and maintain campus partnerships, initiatives and events that support LGBTQ+ identities and allies through a business lens
Maintain and expand PRIDE Mentor Program and PRIDE Open Forums
Serve as primary advisor to student orgs such as Bentley Women's Network (BWN), Students Advocating Gender Equity (SAGE), and Pride
Manage and maintain oversight of the Rainbow Scholars Program in collaboration with the Center for Women and Business, including, but not limited to:
Advertising program application and seeing through application process
Sustaining programmatic elements of the program
Supporting Scholars through development of their workshops in preparation for the annual Rainbow Conference
Sustain and expand Rainbow Week, including oversight of signature events such as the Rainbow Conference, Rainbow Graduation and Block Party
Establish new and creative gender equity, LGBTQ+, and ally advocacy programming and events
Oversight of Gender and Sexuality Lounge, including managing reservation requests
Management of gender, LGBTQ+ & ally resources and materials in the Gender and Sexuality Lounge as well as for the office, and on the website
Manage and supervise work study students including Program Managers and Graphic Designer
Oversee management of GSSP Instagram account, in conjunction with Graphic Designer
Advertise Gender and Sexuality Student Program events and track engagement of students
Serve as a BentleyPlus advisor by attending role-specific trainings, facilitating advising sessions, and sending follow-up communications to advisees
Help the office fulfill The Office of Gender and Sexuality Student Programs mission: To seek to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all students to engage with topics of gender and sexuality; To create a more inclusive, informed, and compassionate community through offering educational programs, dialogues, and campus-wide workshops; To welcome all members of campus and strive to develop inclusive student leaders who celebrate gender, sexuality, and their intersection with other dimensions of identity.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
Candidates with less than 2 years of related experience would be considered for the Program Coordinator and candidates with more than 2 years of related experience would be considered for the Assistant Director.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Demonstrated presentation skills, and technological competency.
Experience working with programming to support a diverse group of identities.

The grade range is based on market data and the scope of responsibilities. Final pay will depend on your experience, education, and other relevant qualifications.
Salary Ranges (depending on position level, qualifications and experience):
• Program Coordinator: $47,004 - $75,638 per year
• Assistant Director: $53,889 - $86,674 per year
