Job Summary/Description:
KAIT is taking applications for a Digital Sales Specialist. The Digital Sales Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of KAIT's digital revenue goals and will work closely with the Director of Sales and the Multimedia Sales Manager to coordinate digital sales efforts with the local team.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but arenot limited to:
- Collaborate with the MultiMedia Sales Managers to maximize digital ad sales opportunities.
- Assist Media Executives with media plan recommendations, performance recaps, and KPI alignment.
- Cooperate with digital support members to ensure campaigns launch smoothly and deliver flawlessly.
- Serve as a trusted client contact, translating objectives into actionable digital strategies.
- Present campaign strategies, reporting, and insights in a clear, compelling way to clients.
- Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends and continually build technical expertise.
- Providing digital training to the sales team
- Assisting Media Executives in presenting and closing business
- Developing sales presentations and collateral using up-to-date research materials
- Maintaining campaign tracking, delivery, and reporting to ensure campaign success
- Working at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in digital advertising with a Media executive and advertisers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or comparable work experience, is preferred.
- Digital Sales experience preferred.
- Wide Orbit, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint experience is preferred.
- Ability to get along with others and maintain effective interdepartmental relationships is required.
- Some negotiation skills are required.
- Ability to communicate effectively is required.
- Must represent the station with professionalism and integrity.
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving in a manner that will work well with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
