Description

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a dynamic team responsible for accounting treatments and account control for new products within a leading bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting treatment design for new products, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and internal policies.
• Manage account control processes, including reconciliation and risk monitoring for product launches.
• Collaborate with product development, finance, and risk teams to assess accounting implications of innovative offerings.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory and reporting requirements for new product structures.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with strong exposure to product accounting and control.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese.
