Supervising Pharmacist (PIC) | Patient-Focused Independent Pharmacy | Washington Heights, NYC

We are a community-based independent pharmacy located in Washington Heights, Manhattan, seeking a Supervising Pharmacist (Pharmacist in Charge) to lead daily operations and provide high-quality patient care.

This role is ideal for a pharmacist who values a supportive environment, autonomy, and building relationships with patients in a neighborhood setting.

 
Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy operations as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
Ensure compliance with New York State Board of Pharmacy regulations
Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff
Manage inventory, ordering, and medication storage
Maintain proper record-keeping and controlled substance compliance
 
Qualifications:

Active New York Pharmacist License (required)
Prior experience as PIC or in a leadership role preferred
Strong knowledge of New York pharmacy regulations
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Detail-oriented and organized
