What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care and daily hospital operations by:

• Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
• Assessing patient status, obtaining histories, and supporting exam room flow
• Monitoring changes in patient condition and communicating updates to the veterinary team
• Performing laboratory tasks and operating in-house diagnostic equipment (hematology, chemistry analyzers, microscopes)
• Accurately charting medical records using appropriate terminology and documentation standards
• Assisting with surgical preparation and procedures in accordance with state regulations
• Administering treatments and supporting outpatient care as directed
• Maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary treatment, exam, and lab areas
• Using safe restraint techniques to ensure patient and team safety
• Supporting and mentoring fellow team members as needed

• Clinical veterinary experience with direct patient care
• Strong technical and laboratory skills
