New Era Custom Design is looking for experienced Truck Drivers for our Architectural Millwork company. We provide the Baltimore/Washington/Virginia areas with the highest quality millwork for our commercial clients. New Era has one of the largest wood shop in the region, at over 70,000 sqft of state of the art manufacturing space. New Era Custom Design is the regions premier Architectural Subcontractor for cabinetry, wood paneling, reception desks, countertops, wood trim, ect for commercial applications. New Era has worked on many of the highest profiles jobs in the area. Some jobsites include the White House, Government Facilities, Hotels/Hospitality Venues, and other Institutional and Commercial interiors. Many of our clients are the areas larger General Contractors and Developers. New Era Custom Design was founded in 1979 with the vision of being the leading millworker in our region. Over the years, we are a growing company looking to expand out Shipping Department. We are looking for full time position in our Shipping Department for quality drivers and offer top pay. This position will include assisting in our warehousing facility during off driving time and non-driving days. Our Drivers will be required to help load the trucks at the end of the day for the next days delivery.

Our drivers will be required to have a clean driving record. To operate delivery trucks for New Era, Drivers will be required to have a DOT Card. A CDL is NOT required, but is beneficial.

Truck Drivers will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting in loading/unloading trucks. That means returning from the jobsite to help load trucks for the next day.
• Managing the next day deliveries with our Logistics Team for stop locations and routes
• Cleaning and maintaining truck cleanliness and readiness
• Topping off delivery vehicles for next day
• Communicating with New Era installers and clients prior to arrival to jobsites
• Returning unused materials back to New Eras facility
• Managing delivery equipment on each truck (carts, dollies, drywall carts, hand trucks, furniture pads, straps) are in good working order
• Trucks/fleet that will be in operation are (2) 26 International and (1) 16 Isuzu
• Assist in light warehouse work during not trucking days
• Knowledge of the Baltimore/DC/Virgina areas for commercial vehicles
