Your new role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager/Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of revenue across multiple venues.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:

Importing and accurately allocating sales data into Xero accounting software

Recording and coding all revenue streams with a high degree of accuracy

Reconciling sales and revenue data to ensure completeness and integrity

Performing daily and weekly bank reconciliations

Investigating, problem-solving, and resolving discrepancies promptly

Assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports

Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting requirements

Collaborating with the accounts team to maintain consistency and accuracy in reporting

Ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager/Accountant

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role

Experience using Xero or comparable accounting software

Ability to work in a high-volume, multi-entity environment

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Familiarity with online banking platforms

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Strong reconciliation and analytical skills

A resourceful, systematic approach to problem-solving

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines

A proactive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
