Salary Range: $72,000+ dependant on experience

Job Description
As an Assistant State’s Attorney, you will: Seek justice for crime victims and the people of our community; work in a
collegial, supportive environment where every door is always open; and gain un-paralleled trial experience.
Under general supervision, performs professional legal work within the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office in
various units including Misdemeanor, DUI, Traffic, Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Drug Unit and Felony.
Job Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a law degree and be licensed to practice law in Illinois, be trustworthy, and live
the Office’s mission: To seek justice.
Previous experience preferred but not required. While full time, in person attorneys are preferred, for the right
candidate, the office will also consider part-time and/or remote arrangements if possible.
