Firm is based in Clackamas, Oregon. Currently, we are seeking a full time, attorney to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with experience in, or a desire and eagerness to learn and practice in family law and domestic relations. This is a long-term growth position for the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The compensation package will depend upon experience and skills. Applicants must e-mail the following items, resume and cover letter. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate effectively and appropriately with opposing counsels, pro se parties, corporate office executives, litigation members, and courts.
Draft, review and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.
Advocate client’s interest at hearings, motions, mediations, and arbitrations regarding lawsuits filed within this office both in person and telephonically when permitted.
Conduct arraignments, hearing and assist in trials when necessary in furtherance of protecting the interests of both the client and the firm.
Utilize Technology Platforms, Software and Automation tools to properly update and document the status of each Case File into the organizations inventory.
Analyze and process reports, as assigned by Managing Attorney, to ensure that proper workflow is being adhered to pursuant to the expectations of both clients and the firm.
Comply with all standard operational procedures.
Prepare and review domestic relation pleadings;
Assist Managing Attorney(s) in preparation for hearings and trials;
Complete investigations and fact-finding for cases;
Conduct legal research and drafting as requested;
Successfully complete special projects and other assignments as requested, this may include assistance in other practice areas within the firm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Membership in good standing with the State Bar of Oregon.
Well versed in Court Room Practice.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment and able to collaborate in a respectful and diplomatic manner.
Proficient Computer Skills including extensive experience in Microsoft Word/ Excel/Outlook.
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
