Description
Davis Rothwell Earle & Xóchihua P.C. is seeking to add a bright, creative, motivated team-player, with 1-3 years of litigation experience, as an associate in its Seattle office. DREX has been zealously defending clients in the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years, with 30+ attorneys between Portland and Seattle.
As an associate at DREX, you will get an array of hands-on litigation experience, working in a broad spectrum of practice areas, including appellate, commercial litigation, construction, employment, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant, personal injury/wrongful death, products liability, professional liability, and toxic tort.
Successful candidates will be ready to step into a substantial role on cases, commensurate with experience, but, at minimum, taking the lead on litigation tasks and working to investigate claims and move cases toward adjudication or resolution. You will be involved in client-consultation, discovery, claim valuation, motion practice, settlement negotiation, and trial, all with the support of a collaborative, team-first environment.
Top consideration will be given to attorneys with civil defense experience and/or litigation experience in Washington state and federal courts. Excellent research, analysis, and writing skills are vital to the role. Judicial clerkship experience is a plus. Current Washington bar-admission or qualification for reciprocity is required.
We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability, with 100% employer-paid-premium options, FSA, and 401(k) with employer contribution. Salary range for the position is $105,000-$130,000, depending on level of experience, plus targeted and discretionary bonuses.
