We are a busy Chicago-based boutique defense firm seeking an experienced attorney to join our litigation team.  This is a great opportunity for a skilled associate to work directly with clients, consultants and experts, and handle depositions, court appearances and inspections.  Salary commensurate with experience; competitive benefits.

We focus on primarily on the defense of complex transportation and premises liability claims, often involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries.  We are considering all levels of experience.

We’re looking for an attorney who wants to:

• Handle new cases from initial investigation through discovery and trial preparation
• Respond on an emergency basis to serious accidents, working directly with clients and defense consultants
• Analyze medical records for client reports/opinion letters and coordinate the work of expert witnesses
• Cover regular court appearances and take depositions
