Description
About Us
Gill Family Law is a fast-growing, tech-forward boutique family law firm in Germantown, TN. We've built a modern, collaborative practice where attorneys get real investment in their growth — hands-on coaching, trial training, competitive pay, and genuine flexibility.
The Role
We're looking for an associate attorney with 0 to 3 years of litigation experience and a genuine passion for family law. You'll handle the full range of family law matters — divorce, child custody and support, paternity, adoption, dependency and neglect, alimony, and Hague Convention cases — working closely with our managing partner and clients as both negotiator and trial attorney.
We invest heavily in the right person: training, tools, and coaching to help you reach — and stay at — the top of your game. Mississippi and Tennessee licensing is preferred but not required.
What You'll Do
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings
- Interview clients and witnesses
- Prepare for and argue at hearings and trials
- Assist first-chair attorneys with trial preparation
- Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law
- Organize case files and track deadlines closely
- Move client cases toward resolution efficiently
Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation depends on experience and dual-licensing costs. We offer 401(k) with matching, health/dental/vision insurance, an HSA, life insurance, paid sick leave and PTO, an EAP, and professional development support.
Work Environment
Primarily in-person with flexible and WFH options based on team and client needs. Some travel and regular commuting to court and our office are required.
