Description
Seamark Law Group has an opening for an attorney to help us defend cities, counties, airport operators, manufacturers, police officers, and other clients in civil litigation. Our team is collaborative, collegial, and committed to mentoring. We work on interesting and important cases. For example, we were one of the two firms that represented the Border Patrol agent who was the prevailing party in Egbert v. Boule, a case in which the U.S. Supreme Court held there is no cause of action against federal officers for Fourth Amendment claims related to border-security activities or for a First Amendment claim of retaliation. We have a flexible workplace that supports remote work, but you must be able to attend in-person depositions and hearings in the greater Seattle area whenever needed.
Requirements
Must be admitted to practice in Washington and able to attend in-person depositions and hearings in the greater Seattle area whenever needed. The position also requires outstanding research-and-writing skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
