- Civil Trial and Matrimonial Attorney
Description
The Associates is an exceptionally busy, dynamic law firm providing strategic divorce counsel and solutions for executives and business owners; protecting wealth, privacy, and our clients' future. We are seeking a Florida-licensed attorney with 5-7 years of highly relevant experience who is ready to operate at the highest levels of attorney practice, take ownership of matters, deliver excellent client service, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team.
Requirements
The successful candidate will manage a stable of roughly 90 cases from intake through resolution, working with the team to develop case strategy, evaluate risk, communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. An ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the firm, from support staff to paralegals and other counsel, is critical to your success in the role, as is an ability to maintain all case documentation with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail. You will need to have an active Florida Bar license in good standing, five to seven years of highly relevant experience including demonstrated experience in handling contested matters, including motion practice and evidentiary hearings. Trial experience is preferred, but we value an excellent legal writer with exceptional analytical and advocacy skills more. You will also need superior professional judgment, demonstrated reliability, and strong client-management skills to succeed in this role. Managing deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is also critical.
