Our reputable Arlington, Virginia-based law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of relevant experience to join our bankruptcy, foreclosure and creditors' rights practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience representing creditors or other interested parties in bankruptcy court, foreclosure proceedings, loan enforcement matters, or other commercial litigation or collection matters. This position offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, appear regularly in state and federal courts, interact directly with clients, and collaborate closely with experienced attorneys in a supportive team environment.
We are looking for a motivated attorney with strong writing, analytical, research, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to take ownership of assigned matters while contributing to the continued success and growth of the firm.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in creditors’ rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, or a related practice area
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court filings
- Familiarity with real estate and title issues a plus
- Excellent writing, analytical, research, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently
- Virginia Bar admission required or ability to waive into the Virginia Bar
- Maryland and District of Columbia Bar admission, or eligibility for admission, is a plus
