About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by creating a welcoming, compassionate experience for clients and their pets from the moment they enter our hospital. As the first point of contact, you’ll help ensure smooth daily operations by managing appointments, communicating with clients, coordinating patient flow, and supporting our veterinary team. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service helps strengthen the bond between our hospital, our clients, and their beloved pets.

Your Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical office experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and basic office software
• Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in emotionally charged situations
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

Young’s Animal Hospital is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About The Hospital

Young’s Animal Hospital is a general practice located in Titusville focusing on routine wellness and urgent care services. Our hospital has a fast-paced work environment, and we pride ourselves on same-day availability for our clients and patients. Compassion, teamwork, adaptability, accountability, and exceptional customer service are all equally important.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8AM-1PM, serving Titusville and the surrounding Space Coast communities.

You’re Willing And Able To

• Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to client inquiries promptly and accurately
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
• Process payments, invoices, estimates, and financial transactions
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and medical staff to coordinate patient care and client needs
• Educate clients regarding hospital services, wellness programs, preventative care, and Thrive Membership options
• Assist in maintaining complete and accurate medical records using practice management software
• Handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism, including urgent care and end-of-life discussions
• Support a positive client experience while helping maintain efficient patient flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members

Some benefits shown are only for full-time team members who work 30 hours or more per week. Certain benefits may be subject to waiting periods or length of service requirements.

Compensation negotiable based on experience, with an hourly pay rate starting at $16-$17 per hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
