Fast-paced, hands-on Customer Service / Internal Sales role. Be the link between customers Your new roleAs a Customer Service / Internal Sales Administrator, you will play a critical role supporting customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, sales support, and order coordination.
Your responsibilities will include:

Answering phone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner

Setting up new customer accounts

Preparing quotes and generating sales and purchase orders

Assisting customers with trade counter sales enquiries

Coordinating with internal departments to ensure orders are completed and dispatched correctly

Managing customer concerns and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Monitoring and managing the daily backorder report

Raising credits as required

Checking customer account status, including trading terms and credit limits, and seeking approval when required

Supporting sales representatives with ad-hoc tasks

Creating purchase orders

Raising pickup tickets for goods returns and supplier purchases

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, or sales administration

Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach

High attention to detail with accurate data entry and order processing skills

Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Confidence liaising with internal teams, customers, and suppliers

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

Competency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (or similar)

A willingness to follow processes, safety standards, and company procedures
