Position Title: District Sales Rep - Construction Equipment
District Sales Representative Construction Equipment(Southern California)
Full-Time Exempt Field-Based-Southern CA MondayFriday
Multiquip is seeking a driven and customerfocused District Sales Representative to champion our Construction Equipment product line and help expand our presence within a defined territory. In this highimpact role, youll build meaningful customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and represent one of the industrys most trusted and comprehensive equipment portfolios.

What Youll Do
Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on Multiquips full-service modelincluding unit sales, parts and maintenance kits, Service Plus offerings, and ongoing customer support.
Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for all salesrelated needs.
Partner with key accounts to expand market share and ensure Multiquip remains a preferred equipment provider.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of Multiquips complete construction equipment portfolio, recommending the best equipment and accessory configurations to maximize customer value.
Provide product training, support, and ongoing education to customers to strengthen their confidence, knowledge, and selling ability.
Analyze market trends, competitive conditions, and construction activity within your territory to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted promotional strategies.
Communicate delivery timelines accurately based on current production and logistics schedules; assist with field stock delivery as needed.
Represent Multiquip at trade shows and industry events, including setup and teardown of exhibits.
Document daily calls, meetings, and activities in HubSpot CRM with accurate data, new contact creation, opportunity tracking, and activity reporting.
Utilize CRM quoting tools to manage opportunities, pricing, quote stages, and credit terms; collaborate with inside sales to convert quotes into orders.
What You Bring
Experience & Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent industry experience.
23 years of B2B sales experience in a construction related industry, ideally within industrial, construction, or equipmentrelated industries.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Capable of presenting information clearly to customers, colleagues, and leadership.
Skilled at building rapport, understanding customer needs, and delivering solutions with a customerfirst mindset.
Technical & Product Skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as operating manuals, safety guides, and maintenance instructions.
Strong understanding of equipment applications and ability to explain product value.
Sales & Business Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a territory, prospect, retain accounts, and grow revenue.
Detailoriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM systems; HubSpot preferred.
Travel Requirements
Up to 50% travel required within assigned territory.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, or balance.
Must be able to lift and move equipment over 100 lbs.
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather, mechanical parts, fumes, and loud environments.

Compensation & Benefits
$100,000.00/yr base plus bonus
11 paid Holidays
