Overview
Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Geomatics Technician to our Geomatics team. A Geomatics Technician is responsible for quality control and assembly of imagery products. One of the most vital components of a technician's responsibilities is reviewing digital images and making pass or fail decisions based on image quality and accuracy. We are a fast-paced, energetic team driven by continuous process improvement. We're looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members
This is a full-time remote position offering flexibility and work-life balance, with competitive compensation starting at $17.00/hour, plus ongoing professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Master cutting-edge geomatics technology by working with both proprietary internal and industry-standard packages to transform raw GPS, INS, and digital image data into polished, market-ready products.
• Ensures that customer image quality and accuracy requirements are met by following established procedures and policies.
• Builds customer deliverables.
• Access to continuous learning and professional development with hands-on software training to advance your geomatics expertise.
• Joins one or more special teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate degree or equal work experience.
• Strong technical foundation with excellent personal computer skills including file management, networking, and databases—the perfect springboard to build advanced geomatics expertise.
Preferred Experience:
• Ability to manage detail intensive data processing within given timelines.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Background in any of these areas would be valuable: information technology, digital imaging, physics, mathematics, management, GPS, GIS, scripting, or remote sensing—each brings unique perspectives to the team.
• Experience with Windows 10 and 11.
