Description
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the background functions for the internship program, volunteer program, and other support programs as needed to support agency functions. Application processing, include but are not limited to preliminary background investigations and scheduling of fingerprinting as needed. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of intern activities, including placement, orientation, and ongoing support throughout the internship assignment. Position is responsible for student/academic department relations in partnership with local colleges and universities. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date internship program records including student application, participation agreements, and program evaluations. Position may occasionally attend recruiting events relevant to the support programs. EOE/ADA
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree and two years of experience in Human Resources or administrative-related duties required. Experience in a collegiate environment to understand the academic culture is preferred. Experience in presentation of workshops or public speaking, preferred. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The physical abilities listed below are estimates of time spent during a typical workday to perform essential functions and responsibilities. Members in this position may be required to:
Sit up to 7 hours per day
Stand up to 1 hour per day
Walk up to 1 hour per day
Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Occasionally bend, squat, reach, kneel or twist
Other Requirements of Position:
20/40 vision (corrected/uncorrected)
Ability to hear conversation at a normal level (assisted or unassisted)
NOTE
