Position Overview:
As a member of our firm, you will handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, wrongful death, personal injury, commercial disputes, insurance defense, and more. From inception to resolution, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, appearing at hearings and trial, managing discovery, and representing clients in all facets of litigation and business needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with experienced partners and take on challenging cases through trial and appeal.
Requirements
- At least two (2) years of experience in some or all of the following substantive areas:
- Premises liability;
- Wrongful death and personal injury litigation;
- Auto or products liability;
- Healthcare/medical malpractice litigation;
- Managing a litigation caseload;
- Drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions and written discovery;
- Conducting legal research
- Appearance at hearings, depositions and trials;
- Strong analytical, research and writing skills;
- Strong communication skills, including with clients, team and partners and providing timely reporting and appearances in court;
- Active member of the Nevada State Bar, in good standing;
- Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience, a plus;
- Ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members;
- Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
