Description

International market development organization, based in Washington, D.C., seeks a manager of meetings and logistics to join its team. This role will manage the event administration for USGBC’s regular membership meetings, bi-annual meetings, special member meetings and other meetings as they may arise. The individual in this position will also coordinate administrative needs for association membership operations. This position is based in Washington, D.C.

• Assist the senior meeting manager in program logistics coordination and executing decisions related to meetings in concert with staff who lead advisory teams. Gather and maintain agendas for each meeting for use by Council staff.   
• Event follow up, including supporting Council staff in follow up activities, as needed. Specific deliverables include:
• Work with colleagues in the department to gather member information and to ensure the accuracy of information. Develop positive rapport with members.  
• Collaborate with the department to handle member requests in a timely and efficient manner. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in meeting planning.
• Three to five years’ professional office experience, preferably involving database administration, accounting and financial record keeping, member services and association background.
