Description
Join our non-private-equity, physician-owned medical and surgical retina practice in Central Florida with two locations. We are seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible/board-certified retina specialist who is skilled in medical and surgical retina who is committed to high-quality and compassionate care. You will treat a full range of retinal conditions. Candidates should be comfortable treating, diagnosing and or treating medical and surgical cases, uveitis, pediatric cases, and tumors. No ROP coverage and no general ophthalmology hospital coverage anticipated. We offer immediate, high surgical volume, strong referral networks, advanced technology. Requirements
Position Details
Fellowship-trained retina specialist, skilled in medical and surgical retina. Diagnose and treat AMD, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, uveitis. surgical pathology, perform intravitreal injections, laser procedures, and vitrectomy and scleral buckling. Collaborate with referring doctors, clinic staff to maintain accurate documentation and support practice growth with high clinical standards. We want someone who's motivated, self starter; must be driven and committed to provide quality care, educate patients and be a team player. Opportunities for research/clinical trial participation may develop.
Candidate Profile
Fellowship-trained retina specialist, skilled in medical/surgical retina
Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
Motivated, personable, ethical, self starter and MUST be a team player
Committed to clinical excellence and referral development
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary starting at $300,000/year
