Description

Stray Goose Solutions is hiring a W-2 Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier to test and certify Class II biological safety cabinets at pharmaceutical compounding facilities, including a VA medical center in San Antonio, TX, in accordance with the current NSF/ANSI 49 standard.

Requirements

Current certification as an NSF-accredited NSF/ANSI 49 (2024 or later) Class II Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier

Working knowledge of NSF/ANSI 49-2024 Biosafety Cabinetry: Design, Construction, Performance and Field Certification

Proficiency with NIST-traceable calibrated test equipment

Demonstrated garbing and hand-hygiene competency for work in classified pharmacy compounding areas

Documented BSC certification experience at ≥2 state/federal government medical facilities within the last 5 years

Ability to pass background screening for VA facility access

Compensation: $85,000–$105,000/year (full-time, dedicated) or prorated for part-time/fractional scheduling, depending on client volume.

W-2 employment with health, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off. Travel reimbursed.

Candidates holding both CETA CNBT and NSF-49 credentials are strongly preferred and may be considered for a combined role.
