Description
We are seeking a reliable, personable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Ticket Sales & Retail Associate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
The position focuses on selling tour tickets, assisting with kayak rentals, retail sales, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
Ticket Sales & Reservations-
- Assist guests with booking tour tickets for New England Eco Adventures and Rugosa Lobster Tours
- Provide clear and accurate information about tours, schedules, and availability
- Process payments and manage reservations efficiently
- Calls to guests when tours get cancelled due to inclement weather
Retail Sales
- Assist customers with merchandise purchases
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space
Guest Check-In & Customer Service
- Greet guests upon arrival and manage the check-in process for tours
- Ensure all guests are accounted for and directed appropriately for their experience
- Provide a welcoming and professional first impression
Kayak Rentals
- Assist guests with kayak rental bookings
- Greet guests upon arrival and manage the check-in process for their rental
General Operations Support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Support daily operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Communicate effectively with team members
Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic computer skills and comfort with booking systems
